靈有五個基本特徵：

The enigmatic Miles Craden, researcher into the unexplained,
gave us the following five fundamental traits of spirits:

1. Typically confined to the room in which they died
2. Cannot be harmed or manipulated through physical mechanisms
3. Have been known to assail the living, sometimes causing paralysis
4. Exercise limited influence over the physical world
- i.e. making small objects float
5. Visible only in mirrors,
or to those who are highly spiritually attuned
超常現象が専門の謎めいた研究者マイルズ・クレイデンによれば、
霊には次の5つの基本的特性があるという。

1.一般的に、行動範囲は死亡した場所に限定される。
2.物理的作用により危害を加えたり操作したりすることはできない。
3.生きている人間を襲うことが知られている。場合により麻痺を引き起こす。
4.物理的世界に対して及ぼす影響は小規模である (小さな物体を浮かせるなど)
5.鏡でしか見えない。または霊感が強い人だけ見える。

有幾種眾所周知的方式可以處理不受歡迎的幽靈：

1. 守護蠟燭點燃時會阻礙幽靈的移動。
2. 仔細觀察幽靈，潛行過去
3. 因為靈敬畏神的神聖能量，
你可以用聖經來阻止幽靈或將其擊退。
4.用相機拍攝幽靈就會捕捉到它，但是
被詛咒的能量會留在地。

奇怪的是，防護蠟燭還阻擋了附魔盔甲的移動。
這清楚地表明，精神是這種魔法背後的動力。

There are several well-known techniques to deal
with rogue or unwanted spirits:

1. Warding candles, while lit, inhibit their movement
2. Carefully observe the ghost, and sneak past it
3. Fearing the holy energy of our Lord, spirits can be stopped 
and pushed by holding out a Bible
4. Photographing a spirit will capture it,
leaving behind cursed energy on the floor

Curiously enough, warding candles also inhibit the movement of enchanted armor.
This is a clear sign that a spirit is the animating force behind such magic.
狂暴な霊や望まぬ霊に対処する方法として、いくつかの手法がよく知られている。

1. 守りのろうそくに火をつけると、霊の動きが妨げられる。
